Choosing a good reference photo is paramount if you want a good watercolour portrait. In the video I explain three simple steps to take or choose a good photo.
Since the video is in Spanish, here are the three basic steps briefly explained in English:
Step 1.– Light (use natural light – exterior or by a window)
Step 2 – Angle (take the photo at your pet’s eye level or slightly below (very important). Ideally they should be sitting or lying.
Step 3 – Details (specially eyes and hair direction)
