I love animals. They are wonderful souls that are on Earth for a purpose. Particularly those who accompany us throughout their lives. Those that live with us. We are everything to them. And they give us so much while they are with us in echange of so little. Loving an respecting them is the least we can do for them.
This is the reason why I love painting our beloved furry friends. Reflecting their love and beauty is the purpose of my paintings. And I use watercolours due to the ability of the medium to capture the delicate details and textures of animals’ features. The translucent layers of watercolour paints allow for subtle gradations of colour and create a sense of depth and dimension, bringing the animals to life on the paper. Whether it’s the gentle expression of dog’s eyes or the playful stare of cat’s eyes, my goal is to capture the unique characteristics of each creature, revealing their individuality and creating an emotional connection with the viewer.
